Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

Michelle Lynn Monaghan was born on the 23rd of March in 1976. She is most famous for her role as the lead in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005), Gone Baby Gone (2007), Made of Honor (2008), Eagle Eye (2008), Trucker (2008), Source Code (2011), Pixels (2015), and Patriots Day (2016). Also, she has received awards for her starring role in the role of Julia Meade in the action spy film series Mission: Impossible, appearing in Mission: Impossible III (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011), and Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018).On the television screen, Monaghan starred as Maggie Hart in the first season of the crime drama show True Detective (2014), where she earned a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also starred as Sarah Lane in the drama series The Path (2016-18). Monaghan appeared as Eva Geller in the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah and the show ended up being cancelled after just one episode. Monaghan was born to Sharon Hammel (a factory worker) in Winthrop. Her older brothers are, Bob and John. Monaghan is of Irish and German descent, was raised Catholic and graduated from East Buchanan High School 1994. She moved to Chicago after graduating to study journalism at Columbia College Chicago.
