Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16 June, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and raised in Rockwood, Tennessee to Gloria Darlene Tonachio (nee Cisson) as a real estate professional as well as Franklin Thomas Fox, a parole officer. At the age of 5 she began dancing and drama classes. When she was 10 years old, she moved to Port St. Lucie (Florida) where she finished her studies. Megan started modeling and acting when she was 13 after winning numerous awards during Hilton Head's 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention. At 17 years old she relocated to Los Angeles, California. She later graduated from correspondence school. Megan made her film debut as Brianna Wallace in Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen film, Holiday in the Sun (2001). Her best known roles are as Sam Witwicky's romantic interest, Mikaela Banes in Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) as well as April O'Neil in the film reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and its sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016).Ranked #68 on FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest women in the World 2006" supplement. Ranked #18 in Maxim magazine's Hot 100 Women of 2007 list. Her ancestry is mainly English, with small amounts of Scottish, German, and Scots-Irish (Northern Irish), and distant French and Welsh. Megan's sixth great-grandmother Mary Powhatan (of the Powhatan Native American Tribe), was believed to be half-Native American.
