Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed an early aptitude for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting talent at that at the time. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she placed second in the 200 meters race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school and signed an official contract with Adidas. In 2004, she began her studies at an institution called the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three across her diverse events at the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
